About Naspire

In fact, we encourage you to be a member of both your chamber of commerce or industry and the Naspire network. Your chamber is good for your business and your community. The difference between a chamber and a Naspire chapter is exclusivity: you are the only business of your category in your Naspire chapter, and your competitors are excluded from that chapter to ensure the intended benefit of the Naspire system and business referral. Chambers, by their nature, exist more for organisational and administrative services.

The real answer is: you. Your presence in Naspire teaches you how to communicate more intelligently and provides the infrastructure that enables you to grow, noting that the chapter as a whole feeds the success of each of its members. Instead of selling your services or products alone, with Naspire you gain a sales team of professional business people who bring you genuine, qualified clients.

Remember that referral and business exchange happen on the basis of trust and strong relationships, so it is very important to attend meetings and build solid relationships with all members of your chapter so they get to know you well, just as you will get to know them.

Naspire is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It takes time to earn the trust of your chapter members once you become skilled at business networking, and to learn to promote yourself and your business with ease. If you expect an immediate financial return, Naspire is not the right place for you. If you want to build long-term business relationships that will earn you genuine, sustainable referrals for years to come, you are in the right place.

Be assured that Naspire will benefit you: if you work for it and for its members, it will certainly be useful to you and will work for you. All you need to do is follow the Naspire business programme, proven globally and demonstrated effective for thousands of business people. To succeed in Naspire, or in any other business network, you need perseverance and continuity, and belief in the principle of giving before taking (Give to Gain®). There is a great deal we can do within the idea that "everyone is for the individual, and the individual is for everyone."

To ensure the greatest possible benefit for every member, specific foundations were set for membership acceptance in each chapter, including not accepting more than two members belonging to the same industry or field. To illustrate: a new member working in the timber trade would not be accepted into the "Naspire – West Amman" chapter if two members already subscribed to that same chapter work in the same field (timber). Someone working in that field could instead join another chapter where no member, or only one member, is already in that field.

The purpose of forming Naspire chapters is to build strong business relationships that produce genuine referrals contributing to members' commercial success. That is why the number of members from the same industry or field is capped at two, so both benefit from all referrals related to their field in rotation (one each time), and to prevent favouritism or cliques outside the scope of transparency.

Naspire set specific standards for its industry and for business referral by developing a programme that supports businesswomen and businessmen alike. As we commit to these standards, we ask all our members to commit to them too, and expect them to work toward excellence and to accept nothing less. We are proud and successful because of the incredibly talented and professional members in our network, who represent the true spirit of the Naspire community.

Any profession that can accept business referrals can benefit from connecting and networking through Naspire.

Naspire does not expect every member to be an expert in all aspects of their profession. On the contrary, being an expert in a specific topic within your field (your core area of expertise) can help the rest of the chapter members understand better what you do, and therefore refer more business to you.

Joining Naspire

The membership application process includes an interview with the membership committee and a reference check through the applicant's own circle of contacts. This lets our members know that new members of their network stand in good professional standing. Current members are also encouraged to hold individual conversations with new members so they can get to know each other and better identify the strengths and weaknesses of their businesses, ensuring the best possible referrals can be passed.

Absolutely. Visiting a Naspire meeting is the best way for someone to decide whether they are interested in becoming a member of our network, and inviting someone to visit your chapter can help your membership grow and increase the value you gain from it. We also welcome and encourage members to invite colleagues from their own profession: although more than two members from the same profession may not join the same chapter, the visitor may be interested in joining another chapter in the same area or city.

Because Naspire chapters accept only two representatives per profession, it is natural that your category may often be full. In that case you have two options: first, apply to join another chapter close to your business area that has a vacancy in your category; second, apply to activate a new chapter if no other chapter is nearby or none has a vacancy for your category. In both cases it is best to contact Naspire's chapter management directly by phone at +962 6 555 4433 or by email at dewan@naspire.org.

Yes, certainly. In fact, being a guest is part of the process of joining Naspire. Send us a message above and we will connect you with your nearest chapter.

Of course. Everyone who contributes with us to establishing a new Naspire chapter receives a number of benefits, most importantly:

  • The opportunity to take part in monthly events as a speaker and/or team member
  • The opportunity to work as a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs
  • The opportunity to connect with other successful entrepreneurs in the Gulf region
  • The opportunity to recruit talent, interns and volunteers
  • Participation in leading and managing Naspire locally, or globally through Naspire Global
  • An invitation to the annual Naspire chapter-member retreat, an exclusive event in a destination chosen to build closer bonds in the chapter-member community
  • Complementary attendance at all major events hosted by Naspire chapters around the world
  • An invitation to exclusive local events, including receiving delegations and entrepreneurship-focused organisations, holiday parties and entertainment mixers
